The Chromanauts

The Chromanauts is a collaboration between myself and choreographer Christine Hands. Based on characters and ideas found in my work, we constructed a narrative in 7 parts that five dancers performed. Christine choreographed the performance, and I did the lighting and sound. It ran for approximately 55 minutes. We have had two performances so far—one in Elgin, Illinois, and Salisbury University in Maryland. During the one at S.U., five dancers were involved - 3 were dance students from the University of Maryland, and 2 were professional dancers. I plan to continue working with my collaborator on this project and hope to hold more performances in the future. All images below are from the performance at Salisbury University.
